Hi, I began blogging ten or so years ago. Over that time my interests have wandered and my blogging skills have improved. Lately I have been feeling the need to refine my blogging. As Walt Whitman put it, 'I am a multitude' and multitudes need their space. So, welcome to my Gateway. Here you will find easy access to the essential multitude that inhabits my mind. The Infinite Ride ~ for those who are curious how things looked as near the beginning as I can get to, and how things have changed over the years, this is the blog for you. The Green Man ~ I was raised in Vancouver B.C. Canada, near the Fraser River. I never felt at home in the city. It was only when, in my 27th year, that I became a Junior Lighthouse Keeper on Ivory Island Light Station that I felt at home. It was there that I began my transformation into The Green Man. Politically Incorrect Politics ~ In my mid 30's I was given the privilege of being trained by the Haisla people in the ways of a Village Lepled, or as the United Church of Canada put it, a Village 'Pastor'. Being immersed in their culture radicalized me. A transformation that nearly forty years later continues to take me down unpopular paths. Bringer Of The Gentle Wind ~ Once the village had trained me up to where they owned me, they took me into the feast hall and baptized me in their way. I was named, adopted into a family and clan and became the Village Lepled. A significant part of the new me was dedicated to easing the pain of the people. To bringing the gentle wind of healing to those who were hurting. If I get it right, this blog will offer a path to healing the pains that all humans share. As of now, only The Infinite Ride has any content. However, day by day I'll be adding new posts in the appropriate blog. Once I get the RSS feed set-up, you will be able to find the new posts in any of the blogs in the left-hand column of my Gateway. Brian
